The 400 Amp Pink Billet Alternator is a high-performance alternator specifically designed for 14-18 GM Trucks. It is built to order and has a standard build time of 2-3 weeks. However, if you need an alternator sooner than that, please contact our sales associate to check if any in-stock options are available.Installation of this alternator is easy, but it is important to note that it comes equipped with a smaller 1.75-inch diameter alternator pulley. Therefore, it will require a slightly shorter drive belt for proper belt tension. It is not recommended for sustained use above 5,000 RPM engine speed. Therefore, please check the instructions section for finding the correct belt sizes and wiring instructions. Failure to use the correct shorter belt may result in low to no output and create extra workload for the alternator.
The newly redesigned Elite series of alternators offers the highest possible amperage and durability available in a large case alternator. With 6-phase technology, massive twin rectifier assemblies, and 12 diodes, these alternators are built to withstand daily use and provide 200+ amps at engine idle speeds.
The 400 Amp Pink Billet Alternator uses a more robust 4-pin style regulator than the OE 2-pin ECU controlled alternators. This means that there is no extreme voltage fluctuation, as it bypasses the RVC charging system on all 2005 and newer GM truck applications. Installation is simple, just connect the included 1-wire P101 harness to a tested 12V switched source and plug in the included P103 module into the vehicle's 2-pin original alternator wiring harness. With this alternator, you can expect no check battery light and no computer-controlled voltage swings. You get the voltage you want, when you want it!
The 400 Amp Pink Billet Alternator is compatible with various Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC models from 2014 to 2018. It is suitable for engines ranging from 4.3 to 6.6 Diesel. Please refer to the fitments list to see if this alternator is compatible with your vehicle.
