Most alternators are made to order, with a standard build time of 2-3 weeks. However, if you need an alternator sooner than that, we recommend contacting a sales associate to check if any in-stock options are available.
When it comes to installation, there are a few things to keep in mind. This unit comes equipped with a smaller 1.75 inch diameter alternator pulley, which means you will need a slightly shorter drive belt for proper belt tension. Additionally, it is important to note that this alternator is not recommended for sustained use above 5,000 RPM engine speed.

However, this is not a common requirement. In most cases, this unit is a direct plug-in for any truck originally equipped with the more common oval-shaped 4 pin plug.
